Interactive Meteorological Data Dashboard

The interactive dashboard above provides a comprehensive analysis of long-term meteorological data collected from the Umudike Weather Station (1921–present). Users can explore climatic parameters including precipitation, air temperature, relative humidity, Saturated Vapor pressure, sunshine duration, solar radiation, soil temperature, and calculated parameters using standard WMO and FAO formulas. (see link for full parameter description). Parameters are aggregated at daily, monthly, seasonal, and annual resolutions.

This platform is designed to support researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders in making data-driven decisions in areas such as agriculture, water resource management, and climate risk assessment. Users can interactively visualize temporal trends, seasonal patterns, and climate variability over the decades using the available filtering tools.

Dashboard Features:

• Weather Station Map: On the left, a map highlights the weather station locations. Currently, the dashboard displays processed data from the Umudike Weather Station.
• Filter Data by Time Period: A user can customize the visualization to focus on specific periods. Identify long-term changes, such as shifts in the onset and cessation of the rainy season, and detect anomalies in temperature and rainfall to support climate change awareness and agricultural planning.
• Supporting Information: Below the dashboard, users can access a summary of the data, access metadata, and definitions of the displayed climate parameters.
